The silver button is hidden in the second section. You may find a bit of resistance, but keep pulling until you hear the “Click” of the button.
What if the outer-lock is not locking tightly?

There is a small screw(tension adjustment) to adjust the tightness,when adjusting the tightness, please leave the Outer-Lock in an unlocked position so easily rotate the screw.
How to fold up trekking pole?

Pull the “silver section” over the silver button a little, and then press the button and push it up.Then the Trekking Pole ready to fold up.
